FORT WAYNE — The Carroll boys wrestlers were in action Saturday at the Wild Bill Invitational at Concordia Lutheran High School, finishing second as a team.

The Chargers got individual championships from Kaleb Blackburn at 106 pounds; Rickey Stroud at 126; Jackson Todd; and Royce Jones at 195.

A runner-up performance came from Edward DeWitt at 160. Third-place finishes came from Zach Bricker at 138 pounds; Porter Blosser at 170; Will Jeffries at 182; Xavier Gilbert at 285; and Liam Ormiston at 132.

Carroll got fourth-place finishes from Ben Velazquez at 113 and Lucas Noble at 220, and a fifth-place effort from Cam Shook at 120.

The Chargers are idle until Saturday, Jan. 28, when they host the Carroll Sectional.
