The Carroll High School girls soccer Varsity team participated in the St. Joe South Bend Tourney Friday night and Saturday. The girls finished the tourney with a 1-2 record.

Friday night they faced McCutcheon and won 8-1 with goals by Faithlynn Bennett, McKenzie Hennings, Malaya Blakely, Kendall Gregory while Maddie Welker and Leila Mojtahedieach scoring 2 goals. Assists were by Jessica Till, Ella Theard, Ava Krillenbarger, Rhya Holliday, Malaya Blakely and Maddie Welker had 3.

Saturday morning saw the Chargers defeated by the host St. Joe South Bend 0-3.

Saturday afternoon the girls lost a hard fought battle to Chesterton 1-2 with the lone goal coming from Maddie Welker and the assist by Lia Armstrong.
