On April 11, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting in the 2100 Block of Point West Drive, in Fort Wayne. First responders transported the victim to a local hospital and later he was pronounced deceased.

The victim was identified as Tyreece Corion Vachon, 19, a male, black of Fort Wayne.

An autopsy has been completed. The cause of death has been determined to be multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death is ruled a homicide.

Tyreece Corion Vachon is the ninth homicide for Allen County for 2023.

This incident is under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
