The Allen County Coroner’s Office has ruled that the death of a man at an Amazon facility on Monday was due to an accident.

Police contacted the Coroner’s Office about the incident at the Amazon Fulfillment Center Warehouse, 9798 Smith Road, Fort Wayne. Caes David Gruesbeck, 20, of Fort Wayne, was transported by EMS to a hospital; death was pronounced shortly after arrival.

On Wednesday, the Coroner’s Office ruled the cause of death is blunt force trauma and the manner of death is an accident.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
