The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 4300 block of Albert Drive on Oct. 2 at approximately 2 p.m. in reference to a request to attempt to make contact with the occupants in a home that had not been seen in a few days by neighbors, as well as family members.

Officers arrived on the scene as a family member arrived and they made entry into the home and found an adult male and adult female unresponsive inside the home. Fort Wayne Fire Department and paramedics from Three Rivers Ambulance Authority arrived and pronounced both victims deceased.

FWPD detectives and crime scene personnel were called to the scene to conduct an investigation. The identities of the victims, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released at a later time by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

This incident is being investigated by the FWPD, Allen County Coroner’s Office and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
