77th Mizpah Shrine Circus at Coliseum Jan. 27-29

Mizpah Shriners welcome about 5,000 northeast Indiana schoolchildren to a free show the Friday morning of the annual Mizpah Shrine Circus.
The 77th annual Mizpah Shrine Circus will present five shows Jan. 27-29 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Three rings will alternate attractions.
This family friendly show features exotic animals, clowns and other performers and attractions. Some of the acts over the years have included: white and gold tigers; Mongolian Strong Man, Tulga; Horsemanship by Erika Zerbini; Tarzan Zerbini Elephants; the Wheel of Death; The Flying Trapeze and Here Comes the Clowns. The lineup will be finalized closer to the circus.
Show times are: Jan. 27, 7 p.m.; Jan. 28, 10 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Jan. 29, 2 p.m.
Tickets are $16 to $25 and are available at the Memorial Coliseum Box Office, 4000 Parnell Ave., Fort Wayne, or through www.MizpahShrineCircus.com or through TicketMaster.
Coliseum parking for standard vehicles is $8 or $12 in the separate preferred lot.

The Circus Fair in the lower level of the Coliseum is open an hour before each performance and an hour after each performance except the 2 p.m. Sunday show. The Circus Fair offers a petting zoo, face painting, moon bounce, pony and elephant rides, and other attractions. Admission to the Circus Fair is free, however some rides and activities have costs associated with them. Novelties and concessions will be available for sale.
Mizpah Shriners once again will host a complimentary show Friday morning for northeast Indiana schoolchildren. The show often welcomes up to 5,000 schoolchildren from districts surrounding Fort Wayne.
Mizaph Shrine’s proceeds from the circus go toward operations costs of the Shrine Center, which in turn allows Shriners to continue their work in the community. Shriners nationwide are known for supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children.
