FORT WAYNE — Parlor Doughnuts Fort Wayne, a craft doughnut and coffee concept at 11936 Lima Crossing Drive, held its grand opening Aug. 5-6. And the owners hope to add more stores in the city.

“We are thrilled to bring Parlor’s products, brand, and mission to Northeast Indiana,” the Fort Wayne store’s owner Gaven and Maryanna Vogt and Darren Vogt, Fort Wayne natives, said in the announcement.

“One of our key values is to create a place that facilitates conversation and community. Where friends and families of all ages can gather in a vintage American space that feels like the ‘Parlor,’ a conversation center of 1900s Victorian homes but with a modern twist. Our ownership group is so excited to bring a business to our community that values giving back, including a passion for active military, veterans and first responders.”

Parlor, which started in Evansville, sells an array of bakery items, including famous “layered” doughnuts; vegan, gluten-friendly, layered low carb, and keto-friendly products; artisanal breakfast treats; and specialty coffee.

The Fort Wayne location marks Parlor Doughnuts’ first location in Northeast Indiana and its seventh in the Hoosier State. The ownership group has plans to open an additional 2-3 more in locations in Fort Wayne, and expand into other cities in the Northeast Indiana area and on. “It has been a long time coming for our first shop. We started with dirt and are ecstatic to open our brand new building and location to the public,” said the ownership group.
