Miami Indian Heritage Days: Chief Richardville House, 5705 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne. Admission $7 for adults, $5 for youth and seniors (65+). History Center members and children age 2 and under are admitted free. Today’s program is Cookware from Local Clays: Making and Using Replica Native-Style Pottery, with Erik Vosteen. The Chief Richardville House, or akima pinšiwa awiiki, is recognized as the oldest Native American structure in the Midwest. Admission to Miami Indian Heritage Days includes a guided tour of this National Historic Landmark.

Organ recital featuring Daniel Schwandt: First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 E. Wayne St., Fort Wayne. 12:15 p.m. This Germanfest organ recital is a program of organ music by German masters, showcasing the Beckerath pipe organ. After the free recital, a catered meal of German food will be available for purchase. Wednesdays on Wayne noon concerts continue through June.

Fort Wayne Area Community Band: Foellinger Theatre, 3411 Sherman Blvd., in Franke Park, Fort Wayne. Downbeat 7:30 p.m. Free. The band will present their first concert of the summer, titled “Music for All Ages.” Assistant conductors David Blackwell and Susan Jehl have chosen a variety of fun, upbeat music that includes “American River Songs,” “Belle of the Ball,” “Captain America March,” “Cotton-Eyed Joe,” “The Eagles on Tour,” “Smokey Joe’s Café,” “Themes Like Old Times,” “The Wizard of Oz” and “What’s Up at the Symphony?” Joining the band for this performance will be a number of local and area high school musicians.
