By Staff | Feb 10, 2021

Thank you

Dottie Mack of Huntertown would like to thank the many people who paraded past her house on Jan. 30 in celebration of her 90th birthday.

“Saturday, the Huntertown Fire Department and all the ambulances led a huge car parade past my home to celebrate my 90th birthday. Susie Hoot, in collaboration with my grandson, together gathered everyone in the school parking lot and came around my house blowing their horns and sirens, and everybody in the neighborhood thought I was going to the hospital. They had banners and music and it was just wonderful.”

Dottie Mack was the first editor of the Northwest News, the founder and first president of the Huntertown Historical Society, and the co-founder and first president of the Huntertown Chamber of Commerce. She turned 90 on Jan. 28.
