Celebrate Earth Day with Fort Wayne Trails and Trees Indiana. On April 23, visit Royville MacFood Mart with K105FM broadcasting live from noon to 2 p.m. and learn about upcoming outdoor events and activities.

Fun for the whole family with FW Trails and Trees Indiana promoting local activities for kids and adults. In addition, there will be a station for kids to make native seed bombs to take home, and Parkview Trauma will also be on-site selling helmets for eight dollars.

“As the weather gets warmer, we are excited to partner with the city of Fort Wayne on weekly family-friendly bike rides like Trek the Trails, as well as our newest event in partnership with the City and Fort Wayne Running Club, Tread the Trails,” said FW Trails Executive Director Megan McClellan.

Trees Indiana will be promoting their programs that offer hands-on learning opportunities to cultivate environmental leadership in urban youth. In partnership with Northwest Allen County Schools, Trees Indiana maintains a certified outdoor classroom at Cedar Canyon Elementary on Coldwater Road. This unique, nature-rich site is open to the public during non-school hours for families to explore.
