The City of Fort Wayne Police Department dispatch received a call from the staff at Parkview Hospital on Randallia Drive on Nov. 7 at approximately 11:50 p.m.

The staff reported a shooting victim had arrived at their emergency room via private conveyance. Officers arrived at the hospital and were informed the adult female victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to her abdomen and leg. The medical staff advised the victim was going to be transferred to another local hospital for surgery reference life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary information indicates the victim drove herself to the emergency room seeking medical treatment. She was unable to provide where the shooting occurred or give any suspect information upon arriving at the emergency room.
