The Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to a problem unknown investigation in the 7900 block of Serenity Drive on Sept. 29 at approximately 8:05 p.m. where two juveniles were found unresponsive.

Both juveniles received medical care at the scene by officers, the Fort Wayne Fire Department and TRAA paramedics. The juveniles were transported from the scene to a local hospital. At approximately 10:07 p.m., the Allen County Coroner’s Office was contacted and advices of the death of Terris Johnson, 2, of Fort Wayne, who was pronounced deceased at the hospital shortly after arrival.

The other juvenile was admitted to the hospital.

An autopsy has been completed and the cause of death is pending with the manner of death pending further investigation.

This remains under investigation by the FWPD, Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
