July 21 – Ft. Wayne’s Farmers Market in Electric Works

By From staff reports - | Jul 21, 2023

The Ft. Wayne’s Farmers Market and Electric Works, 1620 Broadway, have announced that the Wednesday market will be set up every week in EW’s Union Street Market.

The FWFM originally set up in the Center Hall when the local air quality was bad from the Canadian wildfires. Both EW and FWFM had such a favorable response that discussions led to the FWFM setting up every Wednesday at EW. FWFM spoke to the senior vendors and they too felt it was a good move.

Shopping indoors at the farmers market regardless of the weather and shoppers’ physical needs become a pleasant experience for all, according to the market’s announcement. EW provides an accessible parking garage at the corner of Lavina Street and Broadway with free parking for the first 2 hours there or on the flat lots. Handicap parking is available at all parking locations.

FWFM will continue to be a dedicated farmers market by bringing you 80% farm, food, natural with only 20% artisan. The market is open 3-7 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at EW.
