Swimming pools and water playgrounds in Fort Wayne and vicinity have begun opening for the season.

In Fort Wayne, Northside Pool and McMillen Pool are scheduled to open June 3. No opening date has been announced for Memorial Pool. Once pools open, hours will be 12:30-5 p.m. daily through the season.

Daily admission rates and season pass prices vary by pool.

Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation also operates water playgrounds at nine parks. Those will open May 27.

In New Haven, Jury Pool will open for the season on June 3. Regular pool hours will be 12:30-7 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday, closed on Monday.

The New Haven Community Center Park splash pad will be activated at 9 a.m. May 27. Daily hours of operation will be 9 a.m.-9 p.m. through Labor Day.

In Leo, the splash pad at Riverside Gardens will open May 25. Hours will match park hours, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
