YLNI farm market on Wednesdays, too; Saturday market moves downtown May 6

From staff reports

The Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana Farmers Market is adding a Wednesday evening market in 2023. YLNI will offer the market in partnership with The History Center, from 4-7 p.m. each Wednesday from June 7-Aug. 30 in the History Center courtyard, 302 E. Berry St. in downtown Fort Wayne.

“There’s no better place to be on a Saturday morning than at the YLNI Farmers Market, and now you can take in that same atmosphere but on a smaller scale during the week,” market manager Ashley Wagner said. “The courtyard under the awnings of the History Center carries so much history. It’s an honor to be a part of it.”

Street parking will be available during evening market hours. “Expect to shop from a variety of vendors, listen to local musicians, and grab your favorite eats from a few food trucks,” YLNI said in the announcement.

YLNI continues its market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays from May 6 through Sept. 30 on Barr Street. The market puts emphasis on local vendors, who offer produce, baked goods, crafts, jewelry, honey and more.
